Vitamin Words = Happy Child

As a parents, we are aware that need to avoid using negative words eg: No !, Don’t ! Stop crying! That’s enough! I’m over this!
Why we need to “learn” how to avoid using negative? Why not we practice what are the “vitamin” words that can boost up your children’s self-esteem? Practice is not only making perfect but a new habit will be created. Therefore, no need to stress yourself to avoid those demotivate language.
Here are the 8 short and simple sentences that you can talk to your child in daily basic.
1. I LOVE YOU
In our culture norm, most of the parents are very deserve and feeling shy to say “I Love You” to the children. “I Love You” need to present in verbally for young children. A “I Love You” combo with a big hug will definitely make a child feel warm and safe.
2. I TRUST YOU
Children will feel more courage and confident towards their development
3. THAT WAS BRAVE
Children are always in experiencing new challenge at anywhere at anytime. Parents need to notice things aloud. When we notice our kids being brave, they start to notice too.
4. HOW DID YOUR DAY GO
This is a key to build the strong relationship between parent and children by having the child to share the happiness, sadness and challenges after a long day. Parent get to know what can cheer them up, teach them how to control self emotion and guide them how to overcome the obstacles.
5. IM ON YOUR SIDE
Our children need to hear words that communicate unconditional love. That means providing reassurance of our love—regardless of the outcome.
6. I KNOW IT’S HARD, BUT I HAVE SEEN YOU DO IT BEFORE
Give them evidence to instill the confidence that can do it again.
7. DO YOU NEED A HUG
Hugging makes us feel good and of course it work best for the children. Hugs makes happy child, create bonding and stop temper tantrums. Just hug the children no matter happy or sad.
8. HOW CAN I HELP
When they get really stuck, don't be afraid to offer your support. Let them know that the parent is always there to provide offer and guidance.
With vitamin words, your child will grow!
With healthy self-esteem, your child will flourish!
