In the past, motherhood has dominated studies of parenting while father used to be “categorized” as a walking wallets which pay for their children. In fact, “Fathers” are more than that! There are numbers of researches highlighted how father is important in a child’s life. Research studies did not place much importance on the role of the father, and his influence on the development and growth of his child was reported as "insignificant”. The influence are cognitive, behavioral, and general health and well-being areas of a child's life. Fathers are different from mothers. They look different, they sound different, they play in a different way, and they usually have a different approach to raising children than a mother does.
Father Effect in Boys
· Learns about masculinity (what men like and don't like)
· Understand proper male embarrassing topic eg: sexuality and hygiene
· Learn behavior in age-appropriate ways
· How to treat and view women in life
· Discovering strength and unique ability
· Outlook on life in many ways in different situation

· Create the golden standard for future relationships
· Impact on the sense of self worth
· Encourage to take risk in order to reach the goals

Tips to be an engaging father
1. Be a role model
· Maintain healthy living by having proper diet and exercise regularly
· Self-improvement by trying new experience and broaden the knowledge
· Volunteering the times and talents for families and communities in generous and serving hearts.
· Maintain right relationship with wife, parents, siblings and friends.
· Positive attitude
· Respect and listening to the child
2. Spend quality time with your child in daily basic
· Telling bed time story
· Attend to their important event
· Play with them
· Allow them to help out simple task
· Help them in home work
· Sing song together while on board in the car
· Be available to them when they need you
3. Show affection to the child
· Greeting “Good Morning” or “Good Night”
· Say “I Love You”
· Hug them always
· Praise them for any little improvement
· Inform them if you are going to away from home for a period of time
